When it comes to Vegas there is no shortage of things to see here especially it’s Free Attractions. Let’s take you on a tour of the Top 10 Las Vegas Attractions that you don’t want miss.
Fremont Street Experience
If you’re coming to Las Vegas you will no doubt hear people talk about Fremont Street. It’s the original Las Vegas. That’s because it is in the city of Las Vegas. Fremont Street a quarter-mile-long strip where Las Vegas was born. No matter what night of the week you can visit Fremont Street you cant get a different experience every time. There are three stages set up for Free entertainment every night of the week. And Viva Vision Light Show is getting new 4k digital panels and new entertainment that will be done at the tail end of summer 2019. This new display canopy will be on 24/7 once it’s finished with its grand premiere on New Years Eve 2020 featuring DJ Steve Aoki. Best time to get to Fremont is between 7 pm and 9 pm for most entertainment acts and dinner reservations.
Container Park Fremont East
It’s a park made out of shipping containers that is just East of the Las Vegas Boulevard and on Fremont East. This place has boutique shops, bars, and restaurants that will entice you to hang out for a bit and take in the atmosphere of the surroundings of the park. The middle has a jungle gym play area for kids and family enjoyment. Container Park also has an art car in the form of a praying mantis that shoots flames out of its antenna at sundown every night. It’s a hoot for sure. Be sure to whip out your phone for some good shots of this free attraction.
Bellagio Fountains
The most iconic attraction on the Las Vegas Strip is the Bellagio Fountains. The fountains can be seen right in front of the Bellagio hotel-casino. Playing to music and with a different theme throughout the day. You won’t want to miss this Free Attraction while your here.
Bellagio Fountains Schedule
- Monday – Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm every half hour. 8 pm to 12 am every 15 minutes.
- Saturday Noon to 8 pm every half hour. 8 pm to 12 am every 15 minutes. Sunday 11 am to 7 pm every half hour. 7 pm to 12 am every 15 minutes.

Bellagio Floral Conservatory
Just past the registration desk is the Bellagio Floral Conservatory, that is a giant room full of Flowers. This free attraction changes from season to season and has a different theme every time. While you’re at the Bellagio Fountains you can stroll on into the casino and get a spectacular view of the conservatory.
The Mirage Volcano
The Mirage Volcano is just as popular at the Bellagio Fountains. This free attraction is right out in front of the Mirage Hotel Casino. This MGM Grand Property has been lighting up the North end of the Las Vegas Strip since the 1980s and is still going strong today. The Volcano goes off every night at 8 pm 9 pm and 10 pm.
Fly Linq Zip Line
A new addition to the Linq Promenade is Fly Linq, it’s a 10 line zip line that starts at the Las Vegas Boulevard side and ends at the High Roller. Now you can skip Fremont Street and ride Fly Linq to get about the same experience. After you end the ride, you can hop on the High Roller.

The High Roller is a great way to get a 360-degree view of the Las Vegas casinos in the skyline. The High Roller is the world tallest observation wheel at 550 feet high and a complete ride is just 30 minutes. There is a bar service you can roll in if you want to drink. But, you’re a frugal kind of tourist and bringing your own drink is ample enough. Check Groupon for a deal on this attraction and save a bit for the booze run for the ride.
Tipsy Robot at Planet Hollywood
If you’re into Tech you can find a couple of robotic bartenders at Tipsy Robot in Planet Hollywood. You can order from the iPad kiosk that is in front of the robots that have a center stage like setting with an arsenal of alcohol above them. It makes for a one of a kind experience that has your techno-geek curiosity void filled.
Venetian Gondola Rides
The gondola rides at the Venetian will take you back to a time in Italy when they had only a boat to get around town in. Plus, you can hear the echos of Italian love songs as you’re serenaded thru the Venetian. This is a romantic way to reconnect with someone close to you in Las Vegas or someone you just met. Be sure to pick out a song that suits you or you’ll end up with “Mary Had a Little Lamb” again.
Red Rock Canyon
Red Rock Canyon is a great way to take a break off the Strip. It’s about a 40-minute drive west on Charleston. You can walk around or take selfies it hurts. But, the Red Rock Canyon is a great way to see some nature while you’re in Las Vegas. Caution: The peak summer months can be very hot and dry so if your venturing out take a camel pack with our to rehydrate.

The Strat – Formerly Known as The Stratosphere
The newly rebranded Stratosphere is now the Strat. Everything has been remodeled from the rooms to the upper sky pod. The casino floor is brighter, cleaner and better smelling than the older version. This is the tallest structure in Las Vegas at 1,149 feet. The Strat also has some of the most thrilling amusement rides that anyone without fear of heights should try out.
