The world is on hold for at least 30 days here in Las Vegas. No flights in, hotels empty, silent empty streets, and shuttered restaurants. We are all on this ship together and we have to deal with the cards that are dealt with. This too will pass. It’s unfortunate that this is happening all around the world. Social distancing is now a thing that might become policy if this viral stain is not under control.
The Future of Las Vegas and The World
What is to become of the large convention industry in Las Vegas.?Will these types of the event become smaller? Or will attendees be screened for illness as they enter the facility? Las Vegas brings large numbers of people from all over the world every year to events, conventions and entertainment venues that could easily spread infectious viruses and start another contagion. With new event venues being built like MSG Sphere, Circa, Resorts World and the Las Vegas Convention Center Expansion Project; will there be a way to check people that enter these places for high fever or symptoms of illness to intervene on the spread of infectious diseases in the future. Or do we let nature take its course and see what happens from there? Whatever happens, change is coming good or bad.
