Life is full of unpredictability and with that said, walking downtown on the Fremont Street Experience can be just as unpredictable. Take for instance you like to take videos or photos of your time in Las Vegas and you come across a group of people that recognize you for your vlog on Youtube. They approach you and as you about the channel that you are filming for. Many of them are nice and just want to get in the video or photo for a memorable moment on Fremont Street. Others on the other hand will try and grab at your camera and tell you a thing or two about how rude you are for pointing your camera in their direction. All of this makes for great video content that is a little rough around the edges and is not boring to the viewer.
It’s all fun and games until you cross paths with a psycho drunk person falling down Fremont Street and you happen to capture what is about to unfold as an attack on personal space. I require 3ft at all times. However, this raging bull had been drinking for quite some time before all cylinders were redlined and ready to unleash her fury on someone that was in her path of destruction. It just so happened to be me. A Las Vegas vlogger that loves to take a stroll down Fremont Street and capture all the unique people and things happening all at once.
How it started vs how it ended
Once the finger was deployed, I knew my time was limited to get away from this person so I retreated to the bar and decided maybe I should focus my efforts on something else. That’s when crazy psycho decided to reach up and grab my camera gear and mangle it into pieces. The camera shut off and I has no way to capture the entanglement that was happening with psyco drunkard. Definitely broke the 3ft rule as she was grabbing my arm trying to get the last remains of what she destroyed already. With no other alternative, the drink in her hand was making its way to my face and splash. It’s a wrap. She stumbled to the ground and I was left standing there with a bitter-sweet slushy drink dripping down my face. All in a day’s work and off to the editorial roundhouse for this psycho drunkard.
The assault crime in Las Vegas increased by one tick that night
I understand people are out to have a good time while in Las Vegas. However, unleashing your frustrations and anger on someone that is just passing by with no aggression toward you is unacceptable. This happened at a low time in someone’s life and they thought it to be a good idea to show everyone how low they are in their life. Exposing their real selves and how miserable their life has become. Yes, alcohol plays a part in exposing the real you. Especially if emotions are high and you have not learned to control your impulses and to try to ruin someone else day or property for that matter. What is it like working with a person like this? What can I expect out of this behavior in the future with a person like this? Do your friends encourage this type of behavior? Is it acceptable for females to accost and commit aggravated assault on random people that they think are a threat to them just for crossing their path? What are the ramifications? For myself, I’m most certainly going to second guess where my camera is pointing the next time I encounter a group of girls drinking especially ones with blue hair.
