IT Escape Room Las Vegas (NEW)
Fright Dome founder and Saw Escape room owner Jason Egan is teaming up with Warner Bros. to bring Escape IT, an escape room inspired by one of the “most horrifying film franchises of all time,” “IT.”
According to a news release, Escape IT will span more than 30,000 square feet in a “revolutionary new take on the traditional escape room experiences,” featuring two multi-room escape adventures that bring to life “IT.” Opening in the Fall of 2022!
As part of Escape IT, the attraction will include more than 20 interactive rooms, state-of-the-art special FX, lighting, animatronics, and live actors to create a fully immersive and terrifying experience, the release states.
“There’s no turning back as guests put their skills and critical thinking to the test, navigating some of the films’ most iconic locations including the infamous Neibolt House, the Losers’ Clubhouse, the Derry Canal Days Festival, and sewers below Derry, all while trying to escape the clutches of Pennywise, the Dancing Clown.”
“‘IT’ is one of our most iconic horror film franchises and we cannot wait for fans to be able to come face-to-face with the infamous Pennywise and the town of Derry in a way they’ve never experienced before,” said Peter van Roden, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. The Basement Escape Room Las Vegas
Part live theater, part choose your own adventure. WILL YOU ESCAPE EDWARD’S BASEMENT? You and your friends have been kidnapped by Edward Tandy –a cannibalistic serial killer with a fine taste for unique electronics, taxidermy, and of course human flesh. He has created a sick and twisted game of sorts in his deceased mother’s home. He hopes to weed out the unintelligent and find those who are “worthy of escaping” by his late mother’s standards. You pay to get in, but can you get out?
The Basement is a unique, interactive experience. Live actors give the game a theater-like feel. The Basement’s website states that sometimes the actors do touch participants as part of the game-play. Although it’s minimal contact (think a hand on the shoulder), this is something that not everyone is going to be comfortable with.
Escape challenges at the Basement are limited to 10 participants. If you want to reserve a room for a smaller group, you’ll need to purchase all ten slots to do so. The Basement also offers packages for team building with larger groups.

There are plenty of escape rooms to choose from in Vegas, but some of them can get pretty intense. Families that come to Vegas for a family getaway want the option to choose from themes that are exciting and intriguing but still suitable for younger participants. Escape Reality is a perfect choice.
