So here is our recommendation of what to do on Fremont Street.

Fremont Street Experience Zipline

Fremont Street Experience Zipline

Starting at the east side of the Fremont Street Experience, the Slotzilla zip line is 77 feet high and 850 feet long. A Zip Line that’s 114 feet high and launches riders in a horizontal position, as if they are Superman, flying 1,700 feet — the entire length of the Fremont Street canopy – at speeds more than 35 miles per hour.

$25 for the lower zip line rides. Rides on the upper zoom line are $45. Save $5 on either line by flying before 6:00 p.m. All the best as you take the flight to the best attraction on Fremont Street.

Take a Segway Tour Las Vegas

Las Vegas Segway Club

You must be age 12 and up, more than 60 lbs (27.2 kg) and less than 350 lbs (158.8 kg) to ride. If you are 16 years of age or younger, you must be accompanied by a parent or adult who is more than 25 years of age. Pregnant guests and those with mobility or motor control issues are not allowed to ride. You must sign a liability waiver to ride. Flat shoes are recommended.

In addition to a Segway’s cool factor, it also saves tons of energy. You won’t tire out from too much walking, and you won’t waste gas by driving.

Before you get rolling, you receive about 15 to 20 minutes of training. Once on the road, an entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide provides narration, historical facts and little-known info along the way.

  • There are three Segway Las Vegas downtown tours to choose from:
  • South Fremont Street Tour (2 hours)
  • Includes the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, Charleston Art District, Rick’s Restorations and Downtown Container Park.
  • North Fremont Street Tour (2 hours)
  • Includes the Mob Museum, Neon Museum, Natural History Museum and the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort.
  • Fremont Experience Tour (45 to 60 minutes)
  • Includes historic downtown Las Vegas casinos and scenic views of Fremont Street.

No matter which tour you choose, you’re likely to see parts of Las Vegas you didn’t even know existed, from the old casinos to the new revitalization of downtown.

Take Photos with some of the Local Freaks

Run! Don’t forget to Tip your local freaks!

That’s right, Fremont Street is known for its street performers and freaks that invite you to take photos with them. But, it comes a cost. Expect to shell out some cash for your photo or video shot with them because they dress up for you for nothing.

You’ll get plenty of neon to gawk at when you see the lights come on in the evening. The neon on Fremont Street is the best in the world of classic lights that dazzle the evening night away. Take plenty of photos and selfies here.
