What’s Closed in Las Vegas?
EDC Las Vegas (Electronic Daisy Carnival) has been canceled until the Next Years event in May 2021.
Las Vegas Entertainment Acts Remain Closed
Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, not so much as most of all of Las Vegas Entertainment has dried up due to Covid-19. Cirque Du Soile, Magic Shows, Music Festivals, Concerts, Live Music on Fremont Street and petty much all of Las Vegas Entertainment acts all have been halted until next year.
Las Vegas Bars Remain Closed
Las Vegas Bars that don’t serve food are to remain closed by Nevadas Governor Sisolaks directive. This is an extension to the already closed bars in Las Vegas that have happened a month ago and has a bleak outlook for the struggling bars that are looking to reopen as soon as possible. However, bars that serve food with seating can remain open accept the bar top is to remain shut down for social distancing measures. Alcohol can still be served at your table but not at the bar top.
Las Vegas Raiders Inaugural Season at Allegiant Stadium without Spectators
Profession sports is a thing here in Las Vegas and with the Newly build allegiant stadium the Las Vegas Raiders will be playing without spectators as well as the Golden Knights hockey teams and the Las Vegas Aces professional woman’s basketball team.
An Acceptable Alternative to Vegas Sports Arena’s in Las Vegas
Having no place to go for watching your favorite teams play in an arena setting is a bummer for sure. However, Las Vegas has numerous sportsbooks that are great for watching your favorite team if you happen to be in Vegas or a local that’s looking to get out of the house for a bit.
Our sportsbooks of choice in Las Vega are Wynn, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Westgate, The Strat, Cosmopolitan, Park MGM, Paris Hotel Casino, The D, and Soon to open on October 28th, 2020 Circa downtown Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Hotels are Open with Limited Capacity
Las Vegas hotels are open with limited capacity. This is also set forth by Governor Sisolak and is to remain in place until the cases of Covid-19 are subsided along with testing numbers and hospitalizations due to the illness. These numbers are reflected upon test taken one to two weeks prior as test submissions take a few days to get results.
Las Vegas Hotels & Casinos Looking to Reopen in August
The remaining hotels that are looking to reopen in August are Park MGM, Cromwell, and Mirage. However, independently owned Tropicana is looking for a buyer and may take a little longer than expected to open.
These Las Vegas Casinos Could Remain Closed for Good
Station casinos has express that some of their hotels are to remain closed for the rest of 2020.
On an earnings call, CEO Frank Fertitta said he doesn’t know when or if they will reopen the Palms, Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho, and Fiesta Henderson. Fertitta says it’s too early to make the decision right now.
