SEMA 2021 Las Vegas – amazing customs for car enthusiasts

SEMA 2021 in Las Vegas is a candy store for car enthusiasts from around the world. The display of customs and new automobiles are amazing to see and learn about the construction and build of most cars on display.

Tourism officials say the trade show’s return could draw as many as 100,000 people to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“It’s all about innovation and discovery and passion. and our industry is so passionate, that it’s going to be great to have everyone get back together after a two-year hiatus and really share some of the things that really energize them,” Tom Gattuso, Vice President of Events for SEMA said.

Electric vehicles are featured this year, and convention attendees will be able to ride Teslas in the underground people mover built between convention center stops by Elon Musk’s The Boring Co.

On Friday, car enthusiasts can attend the public event dubbed “SEMA Ignited” in the convention center parking area.

“This is not just for the automotive industry but also the city of Las Vegas, the state of Nevada, and the trade show industry itself,” Gattuso added.

Organized by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), this trade-only event draws more than 70,000 quality domestic and international buyers each year. Sometimes referred to as the SEMA Car Show 2021, the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center is the world’s leading automotive trade event, bringing together manufacturers and buyers in every automotive industry segment, from hot rods off-roads to mobile electronics and collision repair. The SEMA Show also provides value to participants through educational seminars, networking events, hands-on workshops, and more.

The 2019 SEMA Show featured more than 2,400 exhibiting manufacturing companies, 3,300 media representatives and hosted more than 162,000 individuals. The upcoming 2021 SEMA Show is expected to exceed those numbers. The SEMA Car Show is a trade-only event and not open to consumers or the general public but only to qualified individuals employed within the automotive aftermarket industry.
