Las Vegas Infrastructure gets a Reboot

The pipes and waterworks are in need of repair here in Las Vegas. Digging has begun and replaced old and outdated pipes have been a monumental task as crews are tearing up the Las Vegas strip and repaving with fresh asphalt. Traffic may get bottlenecked in some areas of the strip, take note as drive times can be lengthy.

The palm trees are getting relocated on The Strip

Most of the Las Vegas Strip center median is lined with palm trees. In order to make room for additional lanes, the palm trees must get pulled up and moved out. Most of which have been relocated to the South end of the strip past the Las Vegas sign.

Las Vegas Pedestrian Sidewalks get Safety Barriers

With safety in mind, the Las Vegas Strip sidewalks are getting redone and with crash barriers to prevent car accidents from reaching pedestrians on the sidewalks. This is being done on most of the busiest parts of the Las Vegas Strip. Although we still see people j-walking all the time. Be safe.

Future Pedestrian Skywalks Coming

In addition to safety in mind. There will be two new pedestrian skywalks added to the Las Vegas Strip. One near Planet Hollywood that crosses over to Bellagio or Cosmopolitan property. The other skywalk will be over by Venetian and crosses over to the Mirage property. This is subject to change but these are the current locations that have been discussed.
