Covid Cases on The Rise in Las Vegas

As Vegas tries to keep its economy going the numbers of people that are coming here won’t make up for the losses that these past few months have garnered. When people from surrounding states come in they risk being exposed to Covid-19 and if infected themselves they contribute to the infected cases in Las Vegas. The tests are merely a week or two behind when the results come out. However, it seems that cases are being reported just after the weekend ends and puts a greater strain on venues and workers in Las Vegas. Casinos, on the other hand, are doing there best to keep everyone safe by providing (PPE’s Personal Protection Equipment) as people enter the building with a quick temperature scan either by a wrist reading or forehead reading. But the numbers across the nation seem to be going up even after 3 months of shutdowns and quarantines.

How will Las Vegas Recover?

Las Vegas will have to first get the infections down considerably before anything significant can reopen like entertainment acts, bars, pool parties, and so on. But let’s face it, people moving around from state to state and country to country is how most infections transmit to other people. Without a vaccination we won’t have this virus under control it will just keep moving around and making its seasonal rounds. In the meantime, Las Vegas has to figure out how to recover and get visitors back and keep them coming back. This will have to come from great deals and bargains to offer. From package deals to extra perks and amenities they can take advantage of if given the opportunity.

Moving Forward in Las Vegas to New Horizons

Unfortunately, Las Vegas has cut it’s workforce down with multiple closures and shutdowns to the point that some of these businesses won’t make a come back. The workforce will also be looking elsewhere for new opportunities if Las Vegas has not enough positions to fill as businesses close their doors in this devastating pandemic leaving millions of people to figure it out on their own. Las Vegas will see a number of people moving out due to the unemployment rate and the slow recovery of the entertainment and restaurant industries.
