Bars Closed in Las Vegas

Las Vegas Nevada has rolled back it’s opening phase for Bars to Phase one by Governor Sisolak as of Friday, July 10, 11:59 pm. This directive will be in effect for bars, restaurants with bars, casinos with bars. Social distancing has been seen as an issue here in Las Vegas due to out of state visitors that are coming in for weekends and not following mask-wearing inside casinos or social distancing. This has been a difficult decision by the Governor and is likely to stay in place until the pike in positive cases here in Nevada drop.

What’s Closed in Las Vegas?

So far the rules are that all bars that do not serve food are to close per orders of Governor Sisolak of Las Vegas. You cannot sit at a bar in Las Vegas period. The Bars outside of casinos on Fremont Street are serving customers away from the bar itself. They have barricaded the bar area and a bartender takes your order from away from the bar area. See my latest walk-thru that shows this in action. Inside casinos, you can see wet bars have been set up throughout the floor to serve drinks away from the bars.

How Long Will This Continue?

The numbers of the infection rate and hospitalizations continue to rise according to Governor Sisolak. He states that until we get these numbers to go down we will keep the bars closed until further notice. Pools, Gyms, and Spas are also being looked at and monitored to for mask-wearing and proper social distancing.
