Las Vegas First Friday starts in the downtown Arts District. You can find many art galleries, shops, bars, breweries and coffee houses and more on Main Street where a majority of the action happens every first of the month. The First Friday Foundation works with community-minded organizations across the Las Vegas valley including schools, youth groups, senior centers, ethnic and faith-based organizations, and other non-profits. Engaging in people around one core central theme of creativity in the local community.

Las Vegas First Friday Bike Run
A majority of Las Vegans know First Friday as a monthly event that showcases local artists, musicians, makers and more. We provide a platform where everyone can celebrate our local culture and creativity in all its forms. While we are best known for our monthly arts & culture festival held in the Las Vegas Arts District, the First Friday Foundation extends its community outreach efforts well beyond the first Friday of each month. The First Friday Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local arts, culture, and education. For over seventeen years, the Foundation has put significant effort into providing artistic opportunities for thousands of students in the Clark County School District through creative empowerment assemblies, contests, and income-based opportunities.

Park & Ride
Park at the city of Las Vegas parking garage, 500 S. Main St., and take the shuttle to and from First Friday. The shuttle runs from 3 p.m. to midnight.

Wherever you park, please make sure the spot is clearly signed for public or event parking; never park anywhere that is not.
Las Vegas Art Galleries
The arts district in Las Vegas has gotten better over the past five years. With a revitalization of the neighborhood and surrounding buildings and new developments that seem to pop up every few months or so. The Arts District is a common social area for locals to meet up and enjoy each other’s company. There are even regular bike cruises that meet up at the Berlin Bar on Wednesday evenings. The Arts Factory Galleries consist of many artists that have studio space in the building and showcase their art every first Friday for the public to see.
Las Vegas Food Trucks Galore
Many of Las Vegas food trucks surround the arts district for some of the best mobile flavors that you can enjoy while taking in the sights and sounds of local Dj’s, bands and other musical numbers that can be heard from every corner of the arts district. Many variety of foods are available from 6pm to 10pm in this family friendly event.
Main Street Arts District First Friday
The Arts District includes Main Street with its antique shops, breweries, bars, food, coffee shops, and wall art on its buildings for an Instagram or tik tok moment. The best part of going to First Friday is that it gets better every time I go. The sights and sounds of music and locals is a great thing to experience in these times we are in today.
First Friday on Fremont Street Experinece
Throughout the summer, First Fridays of the month are considered special events at Fremont Street Experience.
These first Friday of the month dates have special rules, and guests younger than 21 aren’t permitted on the Fremont Street Experience mall beginning at 9:00 p.m. Access restrictions typically end at 4:00 a.m. (early Saturday morning).
On First Fridays of the month, special access gates are set up along Fremont Street Experience, and those wishing to enter need to present a valid I.D.
Once an I.D. checks out, a wristband is issued, and guests are good to enter one of the world’s biggest block parties. Casino customers also get wristbands as they exit casinos onto the Fremont Street Experience mall.
During the restricted access period, if a minor (even accompanied by a parent or guardian) needs to cross the Fremont Street Experience, they must be escorted the entire distance by either hotel security or Fremont Street Experience security. Unescorted minors will be taken off the mall by Metro.
Also, it’s important to remember the SlotZilla zip line will be restricted to patrons age 21 and older since they will be landing within the age-restricted zone.
While that seems like a pretty long list of things you can’t have or do, it’s pretty much what you’d expect to see at any popular entertainment venue, anywhere in the country.
Despite what you may have heard, you can still have liquor on Fremont Street, it just has to be in a plastic cup, rather than an original container like a bottle or aluminum can.
